These Terms & Conditions apply to photography services booked with Robyn Iza Photography. By making a booking and paying the required booking deposit or session fee, you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms applicable to your booking.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

1. Bookings

All photography sessions are subject to availability.

Please contact Robyn Iza Photography to confirm availability for your preferred date and discuss your session requirements before purchasing a package or paying a deposit online, unless the service is specifically offered for direct online booking.

A booking is considered confirmed once the session details have been agreed and the required booking deposit or payment has been received.

Dates cannot be held indefinitely without payment.

2. Booking Deposit & Payment

Unless otherwise stated or agreed, a €50 booking deposit is required to secure your chosen date.

The booking deposit is deducted from the total price of your photography package.

The remaining balance must be paid by the payment date specified at booking and, unless otherwise agreed in advance, no later than the day before the photography session or event

Where a client chooses to cancel a confirmed booking, the booking deposit is non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer law or where otherwise agreed by Robyn Iza Photography.

Different payment arrangements may apply to events, commercial photography or bespoke services and will be agreed separately.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide at least 48 hours' notice where reasonably possible.

Where the client cancels because of a change of mind, the €50 booking deposit is normally non-refundable, subject always to the client's statutory consumer rights.

I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, particularly with maternity, newborn, baby and family sessions. Reasonable flexibility will be considered in these circumstances and a new date may be arranged subject to availability.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

4. Cancellation by Robyn Iza Photography

In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend your session due to illness, emergency or circumstances outside my reasonable control, I will make every reasonable effort to arrange a suitable alternative date.

If I am unable to provide the agreed photography service and a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, payments relating to services that cannot be provided will be refunded as required by applicable law.

5. Weather & Outdoor Sessions

Outdoor photography is naturally dependent on weather, light and environmental conditions.

Cloud, wind, changing light or other normal weather conditions do not automatically require a session to be rescheduled.

However, where conditions are unsafe or are likely to significantly prevent the agreed session from taking place, I may recommend changing the location, adjusting the session time or rescheduling.

Any decision to reschedule due to weather will be discussed with the client.

6. Locations & Travel

Session locations must be agreed in advance.

Standard portrait sessions are primarily offered within County Wicklow, unless otherwise agreed.

Sessions may also take place in a client's home or another indoor location, subject to suitability and prior discussion.

Additional travel charges may apply depending on location and distance. Any applicable travel charge will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

Where a location requires an entrance fee, photography permit, parking charge or other location-related fee, responsibility for this cost will be agreed before the session.

7. Session Times & Late Arrival

Please arrive at the agreed time for your photography session.

Session durations stated within photography packages represent the maximum scheduled session time and may vary depending on the nature of the shoot.

If a client arrives late, it may not be possible to extend the session beyond its originally agreed finishing time.

Significant lateness may therefore result in a shorter photography session.

8. Photography Style & Creative Discretion

By booking Robyn Iza Photography, you acknowledge that you have viewed my portfolio and are choosing my services based on my photographic and editing style.

Every photography session is unique. While I am happy to discuss inspiration, preferences and requested photographs, exact recreations of photographs, poses, lighting, weather conditions or locations cannot be guaranteed.

Final creative decisions relating to composition, lighting, posing, image selection and editing remain at the professional discretion of Robyn Iza Photography, while taking the agreed client brief and preferences into account.

9. Image Selection

The number of final photographs supplied will depend on the package or service purchased.

Unless a proof-selection arrangement has specifically been agreed, Robyn Iza Photography will select the strongest photographs from the session for professional editing and final delivery.

Duplicate images, test shots, technically unsuitable photographs, images affected by blinking or photographs that do not meet my professional standard will not normally be delivered.

Where a package includes client selection from a proof gallery, instructions for selecting your photographs will be provided with the gallery.

Additional edited images may be purchased where this option is available. Where additional images are available for purchase, these are currently priced at €20 per image unless otherwise stated or agreed. Bundle pricing may also be offered.

10. Editing & RAW Files

All final images are individually selected and professionally edited in the style of Robyn Iza Photography.

Editing may include adjustments to exposure, colour, contrast, cropping and other appropriate finishing work.

Extensive retouching, major object removal, body modification, composite work or other substantial alterations are not included unless specifically agreed.

RAW files and unedited photographs are not supplied.

11. Image Delivery

Final photographs will normally be delivered through a private online gallery.

My standard turnaround time is within 14 days of the photography session, unless a different timeframe has been agreed for the particular booking.

If exceptional circumstances are likely to cause a delay, I will communicate this to the client as soon as reasonably possible.

Clients are encouraged to download and safely back up their final photographs following delivery.

Your online gallery will normally remain available for 30 days from the date of delivery. Clients are responsible for downloading and safely backing up their finished images during this period. After this period, the gallery may be removed and continued availability of the images for re-download cannot be guaranteed.

12. Copyright & Personal Use

Copyright in photographs created by Robyn Iza Photography remains with the photographer in accordance with applicable copyright law, unless copyright is specifically transferred through a separate written agreement.

For personal photography sessions, clients receive permission to download, print and share their purchased final photographs for their own personal, non-commercial use.

Clients are welcome to share their photographs on their personal social media accounts.

Images may not be sold, used to promote a business, supplied to third parties for commercial purposes or otherwise commercially exploited without prior permission.

13. Commercial, Corporate & Brand Photography

For headshot, brand, corporate and commercial bookings, the permitted business usage of the final images will be confirmed as part of the booking.

Standard usage may include use on the client’s own website, professional profiles, organic social media and agreed business marketing.

Paid advertising, third-party commercial use, resale, publication or other extended commercial usage may require separate agreement, licensing and/or additional fees.

Purchasing a commercial photography service does not automatically transfer ownership of copyright.

For brand and commercial sessions, the client should provide any agreed brief, shot list, products, branding materials or other information required within sufficient time before the shoot. Where a shot list is supplied, I will make reasonable efforts to capture the requested content, subject to time, location, access, lighting and circumstances on the day.

14. Video & Highlight Reels

Where a Brand Highlight Reel, cinematic reel or other video add-on has been booked, the scope, approximate duration and content of the video will be as described within the selected package or agreed with the client before the booking.

Music used in delivered video content will be selected and used subject to appropriate availability and licensing.

Any additional filming, editing, revisions or usage outside the originally agreed service may incur an additional fee. Any such additional cost will be agreed with the client before the additional work is undertaken.

15. Portfolio, Website & Social Media

Booking a photography session does not automatically give Robyn Iza Photography permission to publicly use identifiable photographs of you or your children for promotional purposes.

Permission to use photographs on my website, social media, portfolio, advertising or other promotional materials may be requested separately.

Clients are free to decline such permission without affecting the photography service they receive.

Where children are photographed, appropriate permission will be sought before identifiable photographs are used publicly.

16. Children & Supervision

A parent, guardian or responsible adult must remain responsible for children throughout a photography session.

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow reasonable safety instructions, particularly during outdoor sessions or at locations involving water, roads, woodland, ruins or other potential hazards.

I reserve the right to pause, modify or stop a session if continuing would present an unreasonable safety risk.

17. Client Responsibility

Clients should inform Robyn Iza Photography before their session of any particular requirements or circumstances that may reasonably affect how the photography service should be provided.

Clients remain responsible for their personal belongings during a photography session.

Where a client arranges a private location themselves, they are responsible for ensuring that appropriate permission has been obtained for photography to take place there.

18. Event Photography

Event photography coverage will be based on the agreed location, start time, finishing time and scope of coverage.

Due to the unpredictable nature of live events, while every reasonable effort will be made to capture important people and moments, photographs of every guest, interaction or requested moment cannot be guaranteed.

Any photographs considered particularly important should be communicated before the event wherever reasonably possible.

19. Image Storage

Robyn Iza Photography takes reasonable care when handling and storing client photographs.

Clients should download their completed gallery and maintain their own backup copies of delivered photographs.

Long-term storage of galleries or image files is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed, and clients should not rely on their online gallery as their sole permanent backup.

20. Equipment Failure & Unforeseen Circumstances

I take reasonable precautions with professional equipment, image storage and backups.

In the unlikely event that equipment failure, file corruption, accident or another circumstance outside my reasonable control prevents all or part of the agreed service or delivery, I will work with the client to find an appropriate solution, which may include rescheduling, replacement services or an appropriate refund where required.

Nothing in this clause limits rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.

21. Problems or Complaints

If you believe there is a problem with the photography service you have received, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible so that I have an opportunity to understand the issue and, where appropriate, resolve it.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Irish law.

22. Privacy & Personal Data

Personal information provided in connection with enquiries and bookings will be handled in accordance with the Robyn Iza Photography Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.

Please refer to the separate Privacy Policy available on this website for information about how personal data is collected, used and stored.

23. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The terms applicable to a booking will generally be those provided or made available when the booking is entered into, unless a subsequent change is agreed or required by law.
