Most of my sessions take place on location, whether that’s outdoors, in the comfort of your own home, at your workplace or at another suitable venue.

For portrait sessions, I shoot at a variety of beautiful outdoor locations across Wicklow and South Dublin, including beaches along the east coast such as Killiney, Bray, Greystones and Brittas Bay, as well as Glendalough Lake, Ballinastoe Woods and the Lough Tay area.

Some popular locations, particularly Brittas Bay and Glendalough, can become very busy at weekends during the summer months. Where possible, I may recommend a weekday or quieter time of day so we have more space and can make the most of the location.

I’m also very happy to explore other locations you may have in mind — from local parks and countryside settings to somewhere that has a particular meaning to you. Portrait sessions can also take place in the comfort of your own home where suitable.

Individual headshots can be photographed in your home, or at an agreed location. For corporate and team headshots, I can bring my lighting setup directly to your office or place of business.

Branding and commercial shoots will usually take place at your business, workplace or another suitable location agreed during the planning of your session.

Locations and any applicable travel costs will always be discussed and agreed in advance.

Ah, the joys of photographing in Ireland! I’ll keep an eye on the weather leading up to outdoor sessions and, if conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll discuss the best option.

Depending on the session, we may adjust the time or location, move indoors where suitable, or reschedule for another available date.

Great question! You definitely don’t need a picture-perfect home to have a beautiful session.

A comfortable seating area in your sitting room, a simple wall in your kitchen or living room, a large bed, or any other area with enough space to photograph can work really well. Curtains and window areas can also make beautiful backdrops for closer portraits.

Before your shoot, it’s really helpful if you can send me a few photos of the areas you’re considering. This allows me to get a feel for the space in advance and start thinking about the best lighting, angles and style for your session.

Where possible, I recommend clearing away any unwanted clutter or personal items that you wouldn’t like to appear in the background of your photographs. Don’t worry about making your home look perfect — we can work together to choose the areas that will photograph best.

My pricing varies depending on the type of photography, session length and level of coverage required. You’ll find my current packages and prices on the Services & Pricing page.

A €50 non-refundable booking deposit is required after signing your Booking Agreement to secure your date, with the remaining balance due in line with the payment terms for your chosen session or event.

Optional extras, such as additional images, priority editing, short video reels, and travel outside my standard coverage area may incur an additional charge.

Any additional costs will always be discussed and agreed with you in advance.

I shoot with professional Canon mirrorless equipment and a selection of high-quality lenses, alongside professional flash and lighting equipment when the situation calls for it - though natural light is my preference where and when possible.

Depending on the shoot, I can also bring portable studio lighting, softboxes and backdrops, allowing me to create a more controlled studio-style setup on location — particularly useful for headshots, branding and product photography.

For me, though, equipment is only part of the equation. I’ll choose the setup that best suits the location, available light and the look we’re trying to achieve rather than bringing half a camera shop along for the sake of it!

I also have drone equipment available for suitable projects and locations, where conditions and applicable permissions allow.

I’ll get back to you to confirm availability and chat through the details. Once everything is agreed, I’ll send you a short Booking Agreement to review and sign.

Once your agreement has been signed, you can either pay for your session in full through my website or secure your date with a €50 booking deposit, with the remaining balance due in line with the payment terms for your chosen session.

Once your payment or deposit has been received, your booking is confirmed and your date is officially secured.

That’s it — you’re booked in!

My standard turnaround time is 14 days from the date of your session or event.

I’ll always aim to have your finished gallery with you as soon as possible, and if there is ever an unexpected delay, I’ll let you know.

There is an optional extra on some packages for priority editing.

Your finished images will be delivered digitally through a private online gallery, where you can view and download your photographs in high resolution. Your gallery can be easily accessed from your phone, tablet or computer, and I’ll send you all the details once your images are ready.

Your gallery will remain available for 30 days from the date of delivery, so please make sure you download and safely back up your finished images within this time.

After 30 days, your online gallery may be removed and I cannot guarantee that your images will remain available for re-download. I recommend keeping a copy of your photographs in more than one secure location once downloaded.

I don’t provide RAW or unedited files. Editing is an important part of my creative process and ensures that every photograph you receive reflects the finished style and quality of my work.

Your final gallery will contain professionally selected and edited images ready for you to enjoy, share and print.

Absolutely — and you definitely don’t need to know how to pose before your session!

I’ll give you gentle direction and posing guidance throughout while keeping things relaxed and natural.

If you like, we can put some music on to help you relax and get into the shoot. The first 5 minutes are usually when people feel most nervous, and by the end of the shoot they don’t want it to be over!

My aim is to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and have you enjoy the experience.

What you wear will depend on the type of session, location and the overall look you’d like to achieve.

Once your session is booked, I’m happy to offer guidance on clothing, colours and styling if you need it. Above all, I recommend choosing something you feel comfortable and confident wearing.

Do not worry. Family sessions involving babies and children are kept relaxed, with plenty of flexibility for little ones who might need a feed, cuddle, break or a bit of time to warm up to the camera.

There’s no expectation for children to sit perfectly and smile on command — some of the loveliest photographs come from simply letting them be themselves. That’s their job! :)

Yes. If you need to reschedule, I ask that you give me at least 48 hours’ notice where possible.

I completely understand that unexpected things happen, and additional flexibility will always be considered for genuine circumstances, particularly maternity sessions and sessions involving babies or young children.

Full cancellation and rescheduling details are included in your Booking Agreement.

Never, ever, unless you have agreed to this. Any images you see on my Instagram or website, I have received the appropriate permission from the clients to use them.

I love sharing examples of my work and I am always so happy and appreciative of those who are willing to let me share it online, but I completely respect that some clients prefer to keep their photographs private. You’ll be given the opportunity (a form) to let me know whether you’re happy for selected images of your choice to be used on my website, portfolio or social media - or whether you would rather I did not.

Or, if you choose to upload your images to your personal social media, I am equally always so grateful for a tag or mention

Please know that your choice will never affect the service you receive, and your decision will of course be respected :)

Yes. Robyn Iza Photography is fully insured, including Public Liability and Professional Indemnity cover, giving both private and commercial clients additional peace of mind when booking.

Proof of this can be provided if required.

Yes. Your package includes high-resolution digital images, but professional prints can also be arranged if you’d like something physical to enjoy at home or give as a gift.

Prints are priced separately depending on the size and finish required.
